The weather in Ireland is a peculiar thing. It's our favourite go-to subject for small talk, and addressing perfect strangers with 'lovely weather, isn't it?' is commonplace while out for a walk. Flash floods in May and snow in August are perfectly plausible ideas, and given the last couple of years in this temperate climate, I'm gunning for hot weather and cloudless skies in November. But finally, we've been given a brief respite from the rain and the dreary, grey skies. A heatwave in Ireland! Average temperatures of 25-30 degrees (that's celsius, for my non-European readers), clear blue skies, ice cream cones and crystal clear water. A dream come true for a bride and groom when you've had that darling ruffly white umbrella stored behind the door, just in case. So, this week's post is a little sunshine-inspired wedding lovelies for you to admire, while it lasts!
